I'm even more unreasonable - I'm still in my PJs but dh and ds are dressed and outside getting some healthy fresh air.

anorak · 21/03/2008 13:01

What, you weren't up at dawn wearing sackcloth and on your knees in a draughty church?

NoBunny · 21/03/2008 13:01

Sounds fine to me. DD1 and I have just had lunch in our PJs. DD2 is dressed because I had to scrub felt tip off her earlier.

I'll get dressed after my bath, OK?

bb99 · 21/03/2008 13:01

Show off!!! [grin}

PJ's fit UNDER jeans for trips to the supermarket you know...

am in mine too and expecting visitors sigh - bloody friends - shall maybe inform them of my lurgy and hopefully they'll cancel

Psychomum5 · 21/03/2008 13:05

we're all still in PJ's too, altho, this is the house of sick and the last thing I want is clean clothes being vomited over......no thankyou!

nope, stay in PJ's, easier to stip should they get vomit strewn, and also they can be washed and tumbled easy.

I however, have had a shower, and got back into nice clean PJ's.

nothing better when poorly to have no clothes constricing you, and you can veg about in comfy clothes!

Nemoandthefishes · 21/03/2008 13:05

YANBU i WOULD have been too if not for needing milk and bread. DDs both still in pjs but we arent doing anything.

GetOrfMoiLand · 21/03/2008 13:05

DD still in her babygro (she is 12 and is in an adult babygro I bought in Spain - I WANT ONE!). I am in DP's trackies and one of his t shirts, haven't brushed hair or washed face. Dstepson in dressing gown and has just done the dishes and cleaned the kitchen without being asked ! DP is working hard knocking some walls down in out other house (haha)

I will get ready in a minute

What else can you do when it is so cold and snow flurries come down every so often?

It's too bloody early for bank holidays. Last Good Friday me and DP were basking in the sunshine in Stratford wearing summer clothes.

Klaw · 21/03/2008 13:09

am not dressed either, which means I can't get the washing on the line, so really should cos with this wind it would be dry in 30 mins....

if I don't get blow away trying to hang it out...

need to go to bank

Psychomum5 · 21/03/2008 13:10

klaw, will the bank be open tho, tis a bank holiday today I thought???

onebatmother · 21/03/2008 13:10

hmm, getorf, I'd counsel against adult babygro unless you would like to appear in a post-watershed Channel Five documentary..

We are half-dressed at 13.09. Plus we have headlice, i think. Again.

GetOrfMoiLand · 21/03/2008 13:12

dd wants us to make cakes but have just realised am out of eggs (secretly delighted)

I have got loads of washing to put on, sheets to change, hoovering and dusting etc etc ad infinitum, but I can't be arsed.

Can see me wasting this precious bank holiday weekend by doing absolutely nothing.

GetOrfMoiLand · 21/03/2008 13:15

dd has just read over my shoulder that I am secretly delighted that we can't make cakes. So she has sauntered upstairs in a mini-strop leaving sponge bob square pants on the telly at 90 decibels.

I must go and do something productive

angiebaby78 · 21/03/2008 13:15

Am dressed just , I cant believe its another school holiday allready!!

Klaw · 21/03/2008 13:15

[doh] We don't get days off in my profession: Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations

So I forget that other jobs do...

now I can see the odd snowflake being blown around so maybe I'll just get the clothes horse out

themildmanneredbunny · 21/03/2008 13:17

am in dressing gown-kids in pjs.

tis good.

CrackerOfNuts · 21/03/2008 13:17

Ds is the only one in pj's here. I asked him to get dressed and he asked where we were going. I said nowhere, and he said , well I not getting dressed then.

He has the right idea i think.

onebatmother · 21/03/2008 13:18

yes Klaw, my position as Chief Microbiologist (Domestic Bacteria Division) is also 24/7. It's very exhausting watching them multiply

catzy · 21/03/2008 13:18

I was given Debenhams vouchers for Xmas and I've tried to spend them several times but kids have always played up and I've ended up leaving. I actually spent them yesterday in the sale and I treated myself to a lovely new soft 'as a baby's bum' dressing gown and PJ's. Problem is I no longer want to wear anything else. I got in them at 5pm yesterday and have just got dressed as expecting visitors. Already suffering withdrawal.

izzybiz · 21/03/2008 13:22

I am still in mine Dd is in the buff!

I have to get dressed now though, have a driving lesson at two.

cremolafoam · 21/03/2008 13:25

i am in dressing gown still too.dh is working. i am noodling about.its great.i am making the most of day off as i have to work easter monday

VictorianPASqualor · 21/03/2008 13:26

DP is dressed, but only in scruffs (he doesn't wear PJ's so just throw whatever on when he gets out of bed), actually, I think he has just got in the bath, but that's only because he has cleaned his car.

I sent the DC's up to get dressed about 15minutes ago, after their lunch, but they're quiet so I'm leaving them be!

I need to get dressed at some point (still in pj's and dressing gown), but will probably just be into tracky bottoms and t-shirt so we can go to the shop.
