how much break time when working?

Working from 10:00am until 4:30pm. 1-2-1 music lessons, so pretty intense.
How much break would you expect within this time?

An hour or 2x30 mins

Half an hour? Plus maybe a loo break.

I think legally you’re entitled to a 15 min break (or maybe 20?) Bit I’m guessing you probably just get the time in between lessons.

Half a hour for lunch. It’s not very long hours, only 6.5 so I wouldn’t expect more than that.

Personally I couldn't do a job that stopped me from taking breaks whenever I wanted, but obviously not everyone has that luxury.

This is my job. Self employed. In one of my schools I have one 30 min break, in another I have two 15 min breaks. Plus bonus time if anyone's absent.

I’ve argued this with DS. He works 6 hours but gets no break because you have to work more than 6 hours to get 20 mins. Even the Gov site says more than 6 hours, but I thought it was 20 mins break per 6 hours worked?
he was working 9-3 the other day so got no lunch!
