I have to agree, I remember watching A Night With Freddy Starr or something, him singing and doing jokes with celebs in the audience. As a child I found it disturbing but I couldn’t put my finger on why.

Felt the same about Barrymore and this was years before all his scandals etc. He came across as a bully.
