PatsyCline · 19/03/2008 19:35

She is clearly a devious minx finding ways to get Omega three into her DS without having a stinky house. Respect due!

I'm thinking of digging the Oust out from the back of the cupboard...

next time you go to her house open a can of sardines...

ingles2 · 19/03/2008 19:47

er... why is her son eating her fish pie in your kitchen?

ingles2 · 19/03/2008 19:48

I could just eat fish pie now btw

VintageGardenia · 19/03/2008 19:49

Ooooh fish pie. I hope it didn't have cheese on top, that ruins a nice fish pie.

Slaver.

chickytwotimes · 19/03/2008 19:51

tee-hee at sardines!
Well, he was eating fish pie because we meet up once a week for a chat have lunch. My ds is onto big boy food now and has whatever we have, but hers is still a fan of his mummy's hand-woven delicacies. They are both 1.5, btw.
It did look bloody lovely, I must say.

expatinscotland · 19/03/2008 19:54

it's a good thing she didn't come over to mine.

i'm in early pregnancy, and the smell of that thing woul have sent me right for my bucket, where i'd have immediately puked loudly.

I love the smell of a nice home-made fish pie!!! my two eat loads of it....i make a big enough one that there is enough for them to have leftovers for lunch the next day!!!

expatinscotland · 19/03/2008 20:07

the thought of fish pie makes me gag even when not pregnant.

only the British can think of something so minging to eat .

VintageGardenia · 19/03/2008 20:13

Did she microwave it? If so, put some slices of lemon in the microwave in some water and put on full power for 5-10 mins. That will take the stink away.

lizziemun · 19/03/2008 20:59

No, but i would make my sister eat her fish paste sandwiches in the garden when we growing up .

My DH thinks its his birthday if he gets fish pie as i can not stand fish pies.

pointedegg · 19/03/2008 21:00

lolol - god I hate fish pie and no YANBU

pointedegg · 19/03/2008 21:00

We have had fish pie incidents in this house

pukka · 19/03/2008 21:02

tee hee, have you guys ever been around dried fish?
because fresh fish is pure lavender compared to that stuff. dh once brought something back from his mom's and reheated it in the microwave, [puke] he hasnt done that again after the fuss i raised about the smell. it took days to get rid of it.

amytheearwaxbanisher · 19/03/2008 21:03

when i lived at home my mam used to make me eat tuna in the garden as she hated the smell so much!and i was never ever to bring garlic into the house
