To think husband is being a twat

This afternoon as soon as we got home husband decided to go and play on his PlayStation. Fine.

As soon as he was finished, he then came in the other room and instantly said he was putting the football on meaning the Netflix show the kids were watching had to be turned off. I said that's not fair, he can't have the tv the second he wants it (unless nobody was using it of course).

He then goes upstairs in a huff and watches it up there for 3 hours. In this time, he texts me to check what's for dinner. I Then decide fuck that, I'm not cooking for him so I made kids their own food. He then strops "fine I'll
Order pizza". I said he's being ridiculous. He's an adult and can cook considering we've just spent £130 on food shopping! We also have a car to fix and various other unplanned expenses..

Our child is now in a flap as one of his toys isn't working to which his dad/my husband says "well you need a new one but you'll need to wait 5 years since nobody is allowed to spend money in this house".

He's being a dick isn't he????

You both sound quite petty and twattish to me. If you were cooking for you and the kids it’s petty not to make some for him as well just because he went upstairs to watch some football that he couldn’t watch downstairs. And I would also be pissed off if someone made a fuss when I ordered a pizza.

exactly this, both as immature as each other

This alone is a problem. He’s a Man child.

This is a bit like saying it’s childish to watch television or read a book.

Yes, as soon as we are 'proper adults' we are not allowed to have a bit of fun playing a games console or watching tv or doing anything. Its only as mainly men use games consoles, no one would moan if women did !!

What a child. I can't get passed the "as soon as we got home he went upstairs to play on his Playstation" Does he know he is a fully grown man that has a home to run and a children to look after ? This poor excuse for a man does as he pleases and has the housekeeper/nanny do the work. How the hell can you find this manchild attractive?

Did you bother to read?

He's a total twat OP. If he's like this regularly then consider why you were with him and whether this relationship is serving you in any way.

Why are you with him?

This is a fair question but realistically many women don’t want to risk being forced to hand their kids over to a useless bastard who can’t even defrost a pre-cooked meal for 50% of their childhoods, so they put up with it. Granted this kind of man is unlikely to go for shared contact, but it’s a risk.

Exactly!
