I think sharing toothbrushes is revolting - given that you can’t really know everyone’s history and lifestyle what about the risk of hepatitis or even HIV/AIDS from bleeding?

It's not only disgusting, it's bloody rude to use a guest's toothbrush anyway.

Tight bastards should buy their own.

This the first You Be The Judge that I anticipate being entirely united in supporting Edward. 100%. Gotta be!

That is absolutely disgusting. And dentists would agree. You didn't share your toothbrush with anyone. You spread around gum disease that way plus other diseeses. And as PP has said there could be blood on it which increases the risk of spread of disease. 🤮

I also find it weird generally that they share EVERYTHING. They seriously didn't have one thing they could keep for themselves. I find that both odd and sad.

I would never even use DH's toothbrush. Disgusting!! I'd rather not brush my teeth

HIV can’t be passed on this way. The virus doesn't do well once outside the body enzymes in saliva renders it uninfectious

The only unlikely scenario would be for someone has untreated HIV and a high viral load have openly bleeding gums, brush their teeth without rinsing the brush after then immediately pass it to someone else with similarly open wounds in their mouth for it to enter the blood stream. Even then it’s pretty difficult to contract

Should you ever share a toothbrush?

Holly Willoughby recently revealed she once used Ruth Langsford’s toothbrush - but is it ever OK to do this?
