Much as I try to advice this kind of ‘news’ it is everywhere atm.

Anyone else reading this news and thinking if he wasn’t a footballer he’d just be a waste of space cock lodger?

I continue to be amazed at what women will tolerate for the sake of money or in the pursuit of fame.

Basically he fathered a child with another woman whilst being married. His wife stood by him. He publicly declared OW was nothing to him. He’s now admitted he’s the father of the OW’s second child. His wife has kicked him out but I wouldn’t be surprised if she takes him back and it seems the OW is doing the pick me dance.

He’s an utter creep. I had an interview at the club a couple of months before he got married and he was meeting a young girl in the reception area who was a journalism student at Manchester Met. They way he spoke to her, cooing at her, flirting away, while she tried her best to be professional and do her interview made me feel sick.

As they're not married he would have had to give his consent for her to give them his name on the birth certificate. Or a court order so I'd be interested in when she gave them his surname.

Yes, you can give them any surname you like. They can be Walker without him there, just without him named as father (as you said he’d have to be there for his name to be in the father section).

The court transcripts are quite shocking. The things that she claimed he should pay for, and then made him pay for her appeal that he should pay even more.

And after all that he went back to her. The whole thing is complete car crash tv - I can’t believe people act like this but I can’t look away.

Haven't RTFT but when the OW got pregnant the first time round the couple were actually separated and his wife was in a brief relationship with someone else. He's a morally reprehensible human being yes but at that point he wasn't technically cheating. However the second time he absolutely was and the OW also did know he was married by then!

He’s a waste of oxygen and I really hope his wife doesn’t take him back this time. But she might. They’ve been together since she was a teenager, I’m guessing he’s all she’s ever known and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a manipulative wanker as well who knows exactly what to say and do to get back in with her. Hopefully she’s got good people around her for support to get rid of him once and for all. And he can run off into the sunset with his side chick and cheat on her over and over no doubt.

I sometimes wonder this too when you see the amount of hurt caused by infidelity. It ruins lives but yet sometimes the person cheating just walks away scot free.

Anyone who has witnessed with their own eyes (as I did when I worked in the nighttime industry in a big northern city) how desperate young women behave around footballers in nightclubs won’t be in the slightest bit surprised by what WAGs are prepared to tolerate. The words ‘flies round shit’ don’t even begin to cover it. If the players didn’t have security around them, they would be torn apart like baby antelope by packs of hyenas.

The reality is that to a particular sort of working class young woman, a footballer is a walking lottery jackpot, an instant ticket to a future of limitless, empty, shallow materialism, and as long as they are the ones who cash in, they accept being treated like crap. Sad but true.

They'll get a shock when the money dries up, sporting careers are short and I very much doubt that KW is the type to have made investments that will sustain the lifestyle.

I feel so, so sorry for Annie and all the kids caught up in this. I know some of her extended family and they are absolutely lovely, very steady people so hopefully AK has a support team around her. Very glad she married him and hope she rinses him completely.

as for LG, well she’s coming out of this about as well as KW. NO chance those two will be together for any length of time.

this is a wider societal issue as others have pointed out. Treating women despicably is rife in football and as a lifelong fan it really hurts to say that.

Oh no @Justia not at all, I think Annie is beautiful and Lauryn is a complete dog. Also Annie has conducted herself with complete calm and grace throughout this entire thing where as all Lauryn has done is better spiteful and vindictive, slag her off publicly and try and engage his wife in a slanging match which she's never publicly risen to

She's a better woman than me as I'd be straight down to Brighton dragging her out of my home (because that's what it is) by her hair

He was captain for them against Newcastle yesterday so I think the club's message is they don't care one bit! What a role model...

If clubs dropped players for seedy but legal behaviour they wouldn’t have anyone to play for them. It would just be Harry Kane stood there.
