ohmygolli · 12/01/2024 17:40

Cleaning! How fun.. lol how about you?

ssd · 12/01/2024 17:42

Working on Saturday, hopefully getting a takeaway afterwards then maybe a walk on Sunday.

Very exciting!?!Grin

JMSA · 12/01/2024 17:43

Nothing! I work in a secondary school with some high tariff young people. I'm fond of them but I have to think on my feet always. My colleague is off with anxiety, so a lot has fallen on my shoulders.
I've never been more ready for a relaxing weekend in my life!!

Blueeyedmale · 12/01/2024 17:43

Have my son for the weekend so tomorrow he wants to go into town and exchange some games, then it's off to McDonald's not my personal choice I'd have a chippy anyday over McDonald's but ds loves it.if the weather is nice in the afternoon we might go for a drive through the new forest.

Mitsouko67 · 12/01/2024 17:45

TGIF! A trip to the cinema tonight to see One Life. Looking forward.

Enjoy the weekend everyone.

MugofteaandWordle · 12/01/2024 17:47

Exciting weekend for us as we’re buying an almost new car tomorrow. Following that DD11 has her first maths tutor session and Rugby on Sunday for DS7.
Hoping to squeeze in a pub roast too.

catelynjane · 12/01/2024 17:48

Very little!

We had takeaway for tea but no plans for the weekend yet. Depends on the weather and what time we get up!

TheDandyLion · 12/01/2024 17:48

Going to have a wander around the bookshops at Hay-on-Wye and hopefully come home with a loot of books for my tbr list.

ExtraOnions · 12/01/2024 17:48

Taking my daughter to.. what I can only describe as a “metal” gig. I’ve listen to the music.. unintelligible shouting, and I will be (by far) the oldest person there. Lucky me

OpalOrchid · 12/01/2024 17:50

No plans. Busy week at work so apart from some laundry and a trip to Tesco I'm doing very little.

campingmama · 12/01/2024 17:51

No kids this weekend so -
Tomorrow we'll take the dog to the shop to get his food in for the week (he gets so much attention he loves going and gets to pick a treat) then into town for some lunch at the market.
Home to listen to Rylan in the kitchen and I'll probably do some baking and ironing

Sunday, meeting friends for a walk and lunch.

Nice and quiet for a change

Beezknees · 12/01/2024 17:53

Tonight 15yo DS is staying at a mate's, I am meeting a friend for a drink.

Tomorrow a friend who lives in London is back for the weekend so we are meeting at Zizzi tomorrow for lunch with her DD, another friend and our DS's. Then a relaxed evening at home with a glass of something. On Sunday DS and I usually order a McDonald's breakfast, then DS will go off to the riding stables as per usual (he rides and volunteers there on Sundays) I will go to a class at the gym and then get some food shopping and tidy up a bit.

bananaboats · 12/01/2024 17:57

Got my sister in law coming round tonight (DH is cooking!) & tomorrow we are going out in Edinburgh for the day

Newtrix · 12/01/2024 17:59

I'm going on a hike with my friend tomorrow followed by pizza and Masked Singer with my husband. Sunday we have a friend coming round for a roast.

JoanCandy · 12/01/2024 18:08

Meeting old school friends tomorrow for lunch. I'm really looking forward to it, we all reconnected last year after not seeing each other for forty years !
Sunday will be cleaning, washing, cooking a roast, making plans for the coming week.

Meadowfinch · 12/01/2024 18:15

Tonight - trying a new curry recipe - ds is having pizza. 😀

Tomorrow - ParkRun with friends, take DS to swimming then nip to B&Q & dry cleaners. Collect ds. Go to the butcher's on the way home, to buy handmade sausages.

Then it depends on the weather. If fine - clearing the front flower bed, then cycling with ds.

If wet - repainting the fourth wall of the sitting room + skirting board, putting up newly cleaned curtains, making ds a chocolate cake, and me some apple bread.

Sunday -Visiting a friend, ironing, an hour's karate. Cook supper then snooze in front of the TV.

mrsbyers · 12/01/2024 18:23

Very little planned

Have both had flu or virus since Christmas and need to do some housework putting stuff away etc

Need to go to Lidl for a grocery top up and just seen we have a £5 of £25 voucher woooooop

Show homes are opening in our estate for the next phase so might go for a nose

Will go and see mam at some stage probably Sunday and go to the market for some fruit and veg while there

Hibernatalie · 12/01/2024 18:38

Tomorrow, housework and then supermarket and playground opposite. DS then has opticians so will need to go into town and I'm on the lookout for a 2nd hand bookcase. In the evening I'm going to cook a nice meal - new recipe and open a bottle of wine and watch a new tv series.

Sunday some self-care: bath, hair wash, reading. I'm going to cook a roast then clean up the kitchen and prep some lunches for the week.

Thehamsterthatcametotea · 12/01/2024 18:40

Sleep, walk, eat, repeat.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 12/01/2024 18:43

Meeting a friend for a drink this evening.

Hoping to drive down to the sea tomorrow, just for a look and a walk.

Chelsea26 · 12/01/2024 18:49

Just about to serve up chilli fries for dinner tonight then the kids all seem content to do their own thing so I imagine DP and I will find something to watch, I have a hankering for Groundhog Day for some reason so maybe that.

Tomorrow DS1 has football training which will get me out of bed earlier than I’d like!

DP’s kids are going to a reunion thing with their mum so leaving early afternoon, DP and I and my 2 are going to mum and dad’s for a big family dinner for my mum’s 70th.

Sunday, my boys will go to their dads and I imagine DP and I will do some more work on the garden room he’s building.

jelly79 · 12/01/2024 18:58

Curry and films tonight
Walking, out for coffee , DIY and maybe cinema Saturday
Running, relaxing and family over for dinner Sunday

CharlotteBog · 12/01/2024 19:00

Grocery shopping either Saturday or Sunday. I am a loyal Tesco click and collect customer but have been using Lidl a lot more.

Football match tomorrow evening. Season ticket holders. Late KO.
Wagamama for dinner. DS wants to go to a big Boots to try scents.

Sunday am taking my ex-MIL to see One Life followed by dinner. She has dementia so she might not settle, but it's local and if nothing else we will have a nice walk there and back. Her husband needs some respite.

I've got a foot injury atm so I'm unable to walk much never mind do the other things I love. I'd normally go for a long run on Sunday. The extra time means I'm catching up with house things which is good. I might even do some batch cooking.

Crooklodge · 12/01/2024 19:11

It's my sils birthday. She said at Christmas she wanted to come here an have a few drinks for it, fine that'll be nice and kids can have a sleepover. That's now morphed into db and sil booking a hotel and bringing my mum through to babysit at mine while we go out for dinner. Oh and we get to have the kids overnight.

Not one of them had asked if that's ok, infact none of them said anything, my dad just told dh. I am raging but I'll bite my tongue this once.

IncognitoUsername · 12/01/2024 19:15

Tesco first thing tomorrow, then planning meeting at Church. Argos in the afternoon to spend my Christmas vouchers and B & Q for paint samples Gladiators in the evening!
Church on Sunday, then nothing in the afternoon and evening.
