If I am absolutely certain in my mind, that I would never ever do it..... AIBU to just want to?

My BIL is a pompous vain twerp who treats me like he ASSUMES that i want to shag him ha ha he is soooo wrong!

But every now and again I get a phase of being all flustered if I see the single dad next door and have to resist the urge to rush to the window when I hear his car pull up! But I'd never do anything about it.

Luckily all the female neighbours are either over 70 or complete dogs

scottishmummy · 18/03/2008 11:57

ah you could all sit on the porch playing da banjo, spittin and singing - you and 2 brothers- nice

FisherLady · 18/03/2008 11:58

Flibberty - is your BIL my BIL????

Mine is a pompous vain twerp too. But I have know him for 13 years and he is maturing nicely.

Jeeez - I must remember to delete all history off this PC today.

i have given my BIL a cuddle...he's 2

seriously, though, are you sure there are no issues in your marriage that this could be highlighting and you need to sort out?

are you ovulating?

wheres madamez?

specialmagiclady · 18/03/2008 12:05

Don't think it's weird - after all, your BIL is presumably like sexy mysterious version of your DH.

But "the look" sounds VERY dangerous to me. I have gone from "the look" to PDA in seconds before, given enough cider (Ah... youth)

Tread carefully...

3NAB · 18/03/2008 12:05

Let your husband get the benefit of your hornyness - not his brother!!

scottishmummy · 18/03/2008 12:06

ahh the closeness of potentially sharing fluids with two brothers. classy

FisherLady · 18/03/2008 12:11

My husband is getting the benefit!!! Definitely. Maybe even more than he wants.

Yes - possibly ovulating. Also possibly reaching a rather MASSIVE sexual peak in my life.

'The look' was dangerous. I must not do it again.

Magic Lady - What is PDA?

Flibbertyjibbet · 18/03/2008 12:18

Oh gosh yes must hide/delete this thread or dp will 'accidentally' prang next doors car or something...
He sometimes comes home and goes 'you've been on mumsnet AGAIN' and if I deny it he goes to the history and picks out threads I've been on at random.... eeeek

Mind you when he comes home tonight I could just say 'yes dear, ALL DAY, not got a scrap of work done' then maybe he won't have to go and check?

3NAB · 18/03/2008 12:33

Don't risk it....

catzy · 18/03/2008 12:33

No - to thinking
Yes - to doing

mrsruffallo · 18/03/2008 12:36

I'd avoid him
Sorry, I think it's a bit wierd

blueshoes · 18/03/2008 12:54

allgonebellyup · 18/03/2008 13:13

god i am approaching 30

and i feel as horny as hell too, all my dreams are based around sex with various beautiful men.

Trouble is, am single. and will never have sex again

totalmisfit · 18/03/2008 13:21

i think my bil wants to shag the arse off me but he is so Yucky, and even if he wasnt' i'm jsut too darn loving and nice to ever cheat on dp.

totalmisfit · 18/03/2008 13:23

oh and i'll be 27 in a couple of weeks so i gues i'm approaching 30 too, but i'm not really lusting after anyone atm, which is odd. i am lusting after my lost youth tho', maybe that's why.

mrsruffallo · 18/03/2008 13:31

total misfit how are things with the nutter?

FisherLady · 18/03/2008 16:35

Mmm... yes know what you mean about lusting after your youth. Maybe that is part of it. I did settle down very young.

Makes it even more tricky when I know he wants it too though....

OP posts:
emj23 · 18/03/2008 16:39

Not unreasonable to want to, very unreasonable if you actually did. As lots of others have pointed out.

By the way, hifi, can I just ask - why would someone being fat make them walk on tiptoes? Not heard of that before.

duomonstermum · 18/03/2008 21:02

i can tell you the answer to that one. DH's cousin is massive and he does the tiptoe thing. he says it's a balance/couterbalance thing..... sounds tiring. prob why he doesn't walk too much lol.

i'm 31 but i think it has more to do with having settled down young. wouldn't touch BIL with a barge pole but quite happily fantasise about my driving instructor! he's hot! just have to make sure i do all my fantasising before my lesson lol

FisherLady · 18/03/2008 21:03

Hmmm. I'm still not sure about this. The general consensus seems to be that IANBU to just think it, but that obviously it would BU to do it.

BUT, my feeling is that I could certainly never tell dh that I feel this way, so surely that makes it an unresonable way to feel???? Where do you draw the line?

On the other hand, it's not like I could actually do anything about my feelings anyway.

I am feeling like a right tit now.

pointedegg · 18/03/2008 21:13

lol @ thread title. Many thanks.

duomonstermum · 18/03/2008 21:15

thing is though, if you have no intention of doing anything about it it's kinda like having the hots for brad pitt ,ya know.

anyway, i don't think that couples have to tell each other everything..... esp if it involves family members. DH made the mistake of waxing lyrical about my sis and tbh i could have smacked him. i know that there's never going to be anything happening (helps that she lives on the other side of the world!) but there's no need to compare {hmm}

i'd keep it as a fantasy. by the sound of things your DH is benefiting from it lol. mine says he doesn't mind so long as the person is unattainable eg. angelina for him. so i just don't let him into all my thoughts

MadameCh0let · 18/03/2008 21:15

Do you have a sister????????

pointedegg · 18/03/2008 21:15
