I live in a town with a lot of dangerous driving and it riles me
A couple of months ago I saw 2 very dangerous manoeuvres by an Audi drivers and the second was a sort of bullying.
I driver for my job and found out where he lives.
I think it's a man in 20s/30s.

He comes from a community which respects elders but can be stupid. Should I knock on the door to speak to the dad privately or should I leave it

No, OP, give any evidence of dangerous driving to the police, don’t go wading into any ‘community’ asking the driver’s Dad to have a word, that’s just bloody stupid.

If you are really fed up with dangerous drivers get a dash cam and when you spot anything dodgy upload it to the police website where they prosecute anyone they can.

If you are one of these people who goes around thinking you are the best driver and everyone else is an idiot then get a dash cam.

Last time someone knocked on my door wrt dangerous driving, it was a policeman telling me Mum was dead. If the driving was really that bad then don't fuck around thinking 'Ooh, I'm older than him, I deserve respect', note the reg and let the cops know.

WRT 'respecting elders', I'd like to point out that other trees are equally important.

Note his registration and report it to the police using their 101 number. Don't go to the house to report him to his parents, that would be ridiculously stupid and asking for trouble.
