So just happened to see this in my sons hair. Can't see anything else but just this tiny bug. I thought nits were too small to really be seen but is this nits??

Yes it is

Looks like a baby head louse (a nymph) to me.

Disturbia81 · 06/01/2024 11:38

Yes that's a head louse, the eggs are the nits.
Get some treatment and comb through killing everything.
The combs don't always get the dead eggs out though as they are glued on the hair, so I really enjoy pulling them off the hair with my nail!

Me too 😄
I actually quite enjoy combing out the lice too.

Yep! Oh I don’t miss those days lol

Please remember you need to treat the whole household, change and boil wash bedding and towels or you will just keep being reinfected!

You also need to retreat within 5-7 days to break the life cycle.

Thanks all! Off to boots we go!

I recognise the evil little bastard. Yes it is.

Nitty gritty comb and bucket loads of cheap conditioner. And put a film on for him to watch while you comb through his hair.
