It was a weird response - wanting a private moment at a gender reveal PARTY (please God I never get invited to one of those) - however, I thought the mum's response of hugging her son and almost blanking her DIL was a bit off too. I think that's what really upset her. As a mum of 2DS I would never do that to my son's partners - it just wouldn't happen

I think it's hilarious that people keep thinking they are revealing the 'gender' of their future baby when they don't even know what the child's gender will actually be in the future. On the other hand, as long as there's a buffet, cake and prosecco, I'm down to attend a party where we all get told what genitals the baby will have. 🍾🍰😁
