Name change for obvious reasons

DH works in a control room which is 24/7. He left his flask, which was an expensive Christmas gift, at work by accident this evening. He’s messaged a colleague who is working and it’s still there. They’ve kindly put it on management desk and DH is going to collect tomorrow morning

It’s a very busy environment with probably 50+ on constantly switching shifts. What are the chances it’ll still be there in the morning? 😂

YABU - it’ll obviously be fine, can’t see anyone wanting to touch a used flask even if it is a good quality one

Why didn’t the colleague just take it home and bring it back in for him when they are next in together?

I guess they could do that!

Yabu I reckon (hope!). Who will want to rob his flask and presumably start using it for work, surely would be obvious.

People have so many flasks at home. Who would want another one!

Since you say it's a Stanley, is it one of those hard to get colours?
If so, it will be long gone.

Or lock it away or at least put it somewhere out of sight?
