Hi. I need advice!
English is not my native language.
8 months ago i bought a House. It is together with another House, we own the building together, but inside of our House is private. We also have a "boiler room" where the previous owner had his washing maschine. There is absolutely no place for a washer in my very small House, so i put mine there.
The guy in the other House is very aggressive, come do my door aggressive about petty things and the new complaint is my washer. If it is In the boiler room, he want to use it. Part of me Think, fuck it, let him do it but he is a builder and if he wash his work clothes in it, he "ruin" it, as in cement etc dont wash out easily.
He is a mean drunk, threating to poison my cat, shout at my daughter for laughing in the garden. I have talked to the police, they logged my "complaint" but cant do anything. I Will have video survaillence soon - but what the fuck to do? I dont want to move as i really love my little House but i dont know how to tackle this. Besides putting a pink crayon in my washer and hope he really do use it.. any advice ?

I think it’s very unusual to put your own machine for personal use in a communal area but you can get socket covers that are lockable (single or double, you can get them on Amazon) would this be an option so he couldn’t turn the machine on? I would be concerned he may damage it in protest though, he doesn’t sound very nice.
I’d be really worried about the threat to my pet and him being horrible to my child in your shoes, but I don’t know what the solution is if you both privately own your homes.

Thank you i Will look at that..
I never thought it would be a problem, as previous owner had both a washer and a dryer there. And my neighbor has his own..
i have asked real estate agent if there are any rules to this. He also have "stuff" on areas that belong to both of us and i never gave it another thought.
The threats to my cat is logged with police and i am a bit nervous about it. Luckily she is Old and mostly indoor and also scared of strangers.
He make me so uncomfortable. He is so aggressive.
I actually dont see him Much, but every time i do see him, i am nervous the rest of the Day. Some days i want to sell and move but i really really like my House. And it was really cheap - now i know why! 😖
