Period after Mirena removal?

AIBU to be a tiny bit worried? When did you get your period after removing the Mirena? I got it out 3.5 months ago, GP had said it will take a few weeks to come back, Internet says 3 months. What do I do? Do I go back to the GP? DH and I want to try for a baby but the lack of period is a bit concerning.

I loved the Mirena, no issues whatsoever, and before that my periods were like clockwork, so I wasn't expecting issues.

You don't need to have your period to get pregnant as you ovulate before it. I had an early loss before I got pregnant and had no period in between. Maybe use OPK's to track your ovulation.

I had my Mirena removed and was pregnant the next month. I never had a period.

Maybe silly but how do I track my ovulation with no period at all? I didn't have any spotting or period while I had the Mirena so I haven't had a period in years.

It took about 7 months for my periods to stop completely when I had mine put in so I'd be assuming it was the same if I had it took out.

I'd probably wait until 6 months then contact gp

Buy ovulation sticks on ebay. You can get bags of 50+ for not too expensive. Pee on them once a day until the second line starts getting darker then do it twice a day. When the test line is as dark or darker than the control line, you should ovulate in the next 24 hours!

@RoomOfRequirement thank you! I had no idea such a thing existed!
