Positive little healthy steps

Feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the need to do better new year stuff floating around, and don’t know where to start!
Can you tell me any little positive things you have started which you feel have made a difference? And how do you keep focus when work/life just gets busy?

Never start a day from a negative position. For me this means no matter how much I can't be bothered the kitchen is cleaned up ready for next day. Clothes/uniforms/school bags/any kit etc all laid out at night. Snacks/lunches made ready for morning.
Washing machine gets loaded and started before the school run and emptied/dried in the afternoon.
Dinner taken out to defrost first thing so ready to cook at tea time.
Longer term stuff, I batch cook so I rarely have to cook from scratch during the week, just finish cooking add rice, veg etc. Meal plan & shop once a week so I don't have to keep going to shops.
