As the title says, I'm so upset. I knew the relationship wouldn't end up going anywhere due to cultural differences, but now I'm so sad it has even though I knew it would.

I suppose I'm just looking for a handhold, sorry.

I am so sorry you are so sad. At least you tried, better to have loved and lost and all that. Hopefully things will feel a bit less devastating tomorrow.
