Wembley arena concert

Posting for traffic and advice please :)
we’re attending a concert at Wembley arena in April.
the last time I went to a concert at Wembley I drove and it was a nightmare to leave, we parked at a school.
im trying to work out either somewhere further out of London that we can park and tube or overground to Wembley, or any places on the tube line that isn’t super close or central London to stay at a reasonable price.
any advice would be welcomed please as I don’t want to be worried about leaving to get the last train home as we would need to get over to Liverpool Street as we’re from Suffolk.
many thanks in advance 🥰

i’d splurge on a hotel as it will really put a dampener on the night getting back to suffolk!

i’m seeing taylor there in july and booked the premier inn right by the arena. £240 for the night. worth it i junk

I’d park at Watford and get the tube to Wembley. Then jump back on the M25 / A12 to get home afterwards.

Premier Inn at Hanger Lane usually quite cheap. It’s about 20 mins on the bus to Wembley but you’ll need to factor in a cab back to the hotel after the event

Uxbridge station has a travelodge right next door, it's at the end of the metropolitan line. Or Rayners Lane and Ickenham tube stations also on the met line both have car parks

Getting the tube after a wembley concert is a nightmare, the queues are huge.

I've stayed at the premier inn right next to the stadium before and another time got a national express coach, which we're also doing again when we see Taylor Swift as all the hotels were booked. We're also in Suffolk.

You can also drive to epping and park there and tube in, would need to change lines though

Just noticed it's a wembley arena concert so the tube probably will be okay, the queues a wild after a stadium concert there
