DH was very drunk Xmas day. Fell asleep in the kitchen. I went to put his phone on charge and saw a message from telegram. I thought it odd because I didn't know he used telegram. Asked him about it in the morning and he said it was his friend asking if he had plans. I thought that really odd...at 10pm on Xmas day. So then I said that doesn't feel right, can I see? Yes of course you can but I need the toilet first. He came back and handed me his phone. All telegram exchanges had been deleted.

I suspect I'm being lied to. I'll never know now and I'm not sure I can live like that. What do you think?

He’s deleted evidence, you now have no trust. Get an STI check and LTB.

Obviously he's lying. You need to ask him why?

He's obviously lying.

The trust has (rightly) gone - time to consider your options.
