Omg I am so annoyed at myself. Honestly.

So I purchased an item from vinted for my son for Xmas. It was marked as brand new with tags.

Package was delivered. I stupidly didn't open the actual mega blocks bag up. Under the assumption it was brand new .

Come Christmas day my son opens up his present getting excited. Poured the blocks out and I see that the blocks are not new. They had chew marks and scratches on them.

Pictured below.

Me like a donut marked everything OK before hand again under the assumption it was brand new.

I contacted the seller and now she is saying she was sorry that she is was selling for a friend

Unfortunately this is a life lesson, always check items before marking them as okay.

Yes your right about that. Seller replied back with send the item back for a full refund. But I'm not giving out my bank details

I've just been refunded via Vinted before when I bought something that wasn't as described so you don't need to give out bank details

That's correct. You'd need to give her bank details, OP. Don't you have a second account that you're not that bothered about?

How much money are you talking?

There is nothing Vinted can or will do as the transaction has been marked as everything is okay (ie completed)

Have you left feedback? That's all you can do. Although I'd ask the seller to arrange for a PayPal refund as she is at fault. Use feedback as leverage if you really want the money back.

I won't get refunded unfortunately because I pressed everything OK as I assumed the item I purchased was brand new. My silly mistake unfortunately

It wasn't much, its just thr principle. I got the mega blocks for my son for Xmas but obviously as stated it was my own wrong doing for not checking the contents before clicking everything OK. I just assumed that it would he fine as marked as "brand new with tags",..

I have left feedback but then the seller gave me a bad review saying i was rude and obnoxious..

All i did was state that she gave incorrect information regarding the item and sent her pictures of the item
