I'd order from QVC that way you can test it for thirty days. They do them on installments so you aren't paying full price to try it out.

both seem to come out with rave reviews, I’ve had the shark for a year and it’s been great and kinder to my hair for sure.

If your hair is thick and you have loads of it, neither of these tools are good enough to dry your hair properly imo, you’ll be there for ages. I always have a better hairdryer to use for others in my house because the shark will not cut it!!

Ah thanks both! I was potentially looking at the set where you could curl your hair but not sure if they’ll hold, my hairs pretty thin but quite long, it’s such a lot of money so being able to test would be great!

I have thick long hair and love my Dyson Airwrap, it’s so much quicker than a hairdryer and brush. I have had it 3/4 years now.

If the shark was around when I looked at buying I would have bought this. The shark comes with a diffuser and curlers and a styling brush whereas you also need the Dyson hairdryer if you want a diffuser.

as someone with thick long hair, the dyson airwrap is crap

the rest of the kit is fab, hairdryer and hot brushes etc

but if you want an actually curler, useless IMO

Heavensabove3005 · 25/12/2023 23:23

Ahh ok, I see these videos where people get beautiful curls that last days but I don’t want to believe the hype 🤣

Should have mentioned I don't use to curl hair. But to blowdry straight it does a really hood job, I use after every wash.

Came here to talk about vacuum cleaners. Very disappointed.

I tried the Shark, from QVC. The dryer and smoothing brush were great. The air wrap waves looked great at first, half an hour later I caught sight of myself in a shop mirror and I looked like I'd been dragged through a hedge. Gave it a few more tries, each time the waves/curls morphed into something that made me resemble a scarecrow, so back it went!
