I'm diabetic with numerous health issues along with mental health problems and can't motivate to cook for myself I would love to find a meal delivery service that offers tasty ready food but haven't been successful
I tried wiltshire foods but didn't enjoy can anybody recommend any or even those that deliver the ingredients to with recipes to follow.
I am hoping to lose weight and improve my health by not been addicted to takeaways.

I haven’t tried them myself, but relatives/friends have used Cook

I think they are on the more expensive side but often have discounts on/through the post.

If you're happy to have the ingredients delivered then Hello Fresh is a good one. They always have introductory discounts so you shouldn't need to pay full price for at least the first month. Good for getting you back into cooking /prepping.

We’ve used both hello fresh and hey gusto. Of the two hey gusto we found a bit more exciting choice wise but both really good and helpful for portion control as it all arrives measured.

Maybe ask on the Next Door app?

In my local area there are a few ladies who run businesses ..... they cook meals and deliver them. There is also an amazing lady who bakes pies, cakes, pastries for sale.

So far I haven't used these services but it's tempting !

Or would you consider good quality Supermarket ready meals - can be delivered and then frozen. Might that work?

It's a bit more work than a takeaway as you'd have to defrost and heat up.

Never enjoy those supermarket ready meals and don't find them that filling.

Have you looked at mindful chef? They offer fairly healthy options. I've tried their recipe boxes and liked those. They also offer ready meals and smoothies, lots of easy options.
Again, not cheap but what I had was good quality and I thought it was worth the money.

My Dad is massively fussy about ready meals but he loves the Cook range. They seem as "home made" as is possible from a commercial place.
