On Monday I had really bad pain in my stomach that was radiating to my back and made me sick so I went to A&E and they thought it might be gastroenteritis and a UTI.

The day after I started my period but it was heavier than normal but it's the first one since coming off the injection so expected it to be a bit different and painful.

Today I'm really tired, unusually tired. I'm still bleeding quite heavily which is unusual for me but no clots, I'm having really painful bowel movements and my stomach still hurts but not as much but I feel a bit hot and light headed.

Would I be unreasonable to get checked out or is it just a period and I need to get a grip?

Ring 111 and see what they say. As before, it's best to be safe than sorry.

Did they give you antibiotics for the uti?

What’s your temp?

How heavy bleeding?

I suspect 111 will leave you to go to A and E.

Yes I had anti biotics for the UTI.

I can't check my temp, my chest is warm not cold but I keep feeling really hot and light headed.

The bleeding isn't loads, but I'm filling a pad every time and it's unusual for me to bleed this long and this heavy.

I just don't know if I'm worrying over nothing, the pain isn't as bad as it was last week but it's still there.

How often are you filling a pad?

How often are you filling a pad?

Every couple of hours so not immediately or anything

I'd call them even just for some reassurance it's not serious. The injection wasn't a thing in my day, but I do remember my periods felt much more painful/heavier than prior to begining the pill when I came off it. Whether they were or not, I don't know because I'd been on the pill for 15 yrs approx.

I’d go.

Remember on your previous thread I said I once had stomach pains that ended up being a ruptured cyst on my ovaries - if untreated it can kill you.

Please go get checked out - have you had full MRI / CAT / ovary / womb / pregnancy sort of scans?
sorry I’m not medical but the usual ones that would show all female and major organs etc?

I do remember yes, sorry for name change.

I just thought my pain wasn't bad enough for it to be that but maybe you're right, I haven't had a scan so with it still being like it is almost a week later I'll get checked out, thank you.
