A good holiday recommendation thread

Ideally places that aren’t where the British go to for parties, to be rowdy etc, it doesn’t have to be popular British tourist destination either. Preferably ones that aren’t too far away from the UK as i don’t like longer flights. Any recommendations for portugal?

Tavira in Portugal is nice.

Ooo it does look nice. Are there any particular hotels/resorts you’d suggest?

Puerto Pollensa in Mallorca. Brits do go there but it’s not rowdy in the slightest.

Varna in Bulgaria.

Cascais is nice.

Naxos in Greece

Estepona Southern Spain. Immaculate seafront all marbled walkway, great little independent shops and bigger names too, super restaurant scene. Very civilized.

I'm here right now and it's lovely.

Menorca. No one parties there.

Sicily, Madeira

Milos

Unspoilt Greek island. You can fly or get a ferry from Athens.

i think it has got a bit more popular since DH and I went but it is paradise and the opposite of somewhere you’d get rowdy Brit’s on your. Stunning beaches and scenery. Goats and cats roaming around. Paradise
