Fed up with Christmas already

My dad is staying with us for Christmas. So far we have argued about who's doing the washing up and I'm doing never ending cooking 🤷‍♀️🤔 next year I'm definitely going to a pub for Christmas lunch 🎄❤️⛄😂

My dad is very set in his ways.....so when he stays here he has to do things his way. I like to wait for a few minutes for my dinner to go down before I start washing up..... he's straight in the sink. I asked him to wait but....

Leave him to it. My Dad was exactly the same but knew the rest of us would be 5 minutes behind him.

Well if he can't wait then he can crack on can't he. I'd not be arguing in my own house about things like that. Either he can mind his manners and play by the rules of the house he's actually in or he can go back to his own house and eat and wash up whenever he likes otherwise.

It's fascinating what people put up with from people simply because they're a relative when they never would from anyone else who was a guest.

I'm not doing it next year.... definitely going out for Christmas dinner 🎄⛄❤️
