To just give up on sleep

Five month old DD, it feels like she is never full. It took me forever to get her to sleep tonight and three hours later she’s awake and isn’t going back down. I’ve just taken her downstairs and I’ll just crack on with some house stuff. I doubt either of us will go back to sleep before 2 and then she’ll wake again and again and again …

I know it isn’t forever but I am so tired 😭

It's so hard in the beginning because of the sleep starvation. I was like a walking zombie for the first 8 months. Used to do housework at nighttime so I could sleep when DD finally fell asleep towards the morning.Hopefully it gets better for you soon.
