DD aged 12 has been a bit of a madam today. We are meeting friends tomorrow and l told her she needs to be up and dressed by 8.30am and she huffed and puffed so l told her she is welcome to not come at which point she cried and said she wants to come. Tired and emotional so sent her to bed.
Was telling dh who said it's my fault for telling her too much info so l said well she needs to know to be ready then l went off to sort other bits out. He has gone off on one saying oh finished our conversation have we? Yep because there was nothing left to say. And now he has gone off to bed in a strop.
AIBU for telling her what time to be ready??
Merry fucking Christmas!

You've not done anything wrong. I wonder is she getting to a hormonal age?

Never go to bed on an argument.

Kind regards.

My gran used to say that expression, never go to bed etc, ending with you might not see the sun rise in the morning, always remember it.

It wasn't me that went to bed! I am still up! Plus l wasn't arguing - l took his comments on board but wasn't much else to say.
