Amarula is much better than baileys

historically always been a fan of Baileys but it doesn't seem the same these days. they had run out of baileys today so bought amarula instead.

Yes, absolutely! Thanks for reminding me it even existed, I don't see it much anymore and just reach for the Baileys.

I am a fan of the flavoured Baileys (and Aldi knock offs) for Christmas though! We have Aldi's chocolate cherry for Monday.

Cool Swan is not as nice as Baileys, but homemade Irish Cream is better than Baileys, I make it every year.

I've just discovered vegan Amarula and it's absolutely gorgeous! Cut out dairy 3 years ago and had really missed Baileys over Xmas.

Amarula is better, not least because every South African you ever meet will tell you that elephants & monkeys get drunk when the marula fruit has fermented.

Amarula is lovely, but I see it more as a summer drink. I’ve brought it home from trips to Africa for decades. I love it. But Baileys is better. Especially at Christmas. You can’t put amarula in coffee, for starters.
