PIL had the kids from 10.30 - DH dropped them off. When he got back he called to see where I was - I told him in back in bed and to come join me.

He appeared 5 mins later with tea and a tray of Ferrero Rocher. We watched 3 episodes of Taskmaster, played a board game, did the Christmas Day shopping list and the watched a Sherlock Holmes film.

I honestly cannot remember last feeling so relaxed.

Life not always easy but honestly - this day felt magical 🤣

Amazing! Sounds perfect OP. I’m a bit jealous 😁

Wow that does sound amazing.

@Autumnleaves89

Honestly - I was utterly wrecked by end of term. We’ve been having trouble with getting my son’s specialist school place, both of us have been really busy at work and the littlest one has been deciding 4am is a suitable wake up time.

Actually feel like Christmas won’t break me this year.

Sounds lovely!

My wonderful day was my 2 year old being on great form, my 6 year old being lovely as usual and my husband coming back from a Christmas lunch ON TIME!

Wooo
