I’m tired, we’ve all been ill, decided we’d have a treat to celebrate breaking up for Christmas with Chinese food. Made the order, drove over to collect it. Got home and they’ve given me the wrong food. Called them up and explained and they offered me a refund or I’d have to come back and collect the right food. Loaded the kids back into the car, drove over, collected the food. They were lovely and very apologetic. Got home, dished out again, they’ve given me the first order again!!!! I don’t know if I should cry and scream. Called them up, again they’re very apologetic, they’ll send a delivery driver straight over with a refund and the food. That was 30 minutes ago. Kids are starving, I’ve air-fried some chicken nuggets and now just hungry and pissed off that my treat has been completely ruined and I still don’t know where my food is. Tried calling back but it’s engaged (only take out in a small town so very busy which is why I collected in the first place). Kids finished off the chicken nuggets so not sure what I’m having for tea now, might be a bottle of wine and a selection box?
