Adult ds visited yesterday. Discussing the Lotto, telling him I had put a few lucky dips on over Christmas! He was saying he had kept the same chosen numbers since moving out of home 4 years ago. His gf also does Lotto with her own chosen numbers.. Her grandma saw their tickets on the table last week and asked why they had the same chosen numbers? Another odd thing both of them chose those numbers in the November of the same year. They hadn't even met them. Quite a recent relationship and don't live together..

I share a birthday with DH. Same day, month and year. We have names the same (ish). Think Phillip and Phillipa (not them but ykwim) and have identical twins. They were born at 8.14 and 8.41

@Pizdietz ermmmmm I'm not sure that I'd be re-telling that one tbh!

Oh god I just re-read my post and it sounds like I was having sex with him in my dream!!!!!!! I wasn't, that was just what my friend kept joking when I tried to describe this odd "soulmate" dream to her the next day! In my dream, it was just a very intense encounter with this amazing old soul, except that a fact somehow floating around (in that weird way you "know" things in dreams) was that his physical body was only 13.5 years old. I didn't even speak to him, I just sort of admired him from a distance, and was really puzzled by it.

My two dd's have different dads.
Both went on to marry different girls with the same forename.
All 4 now have the same fore and surname. Ie, for example.s Mike Smith. Julia Smith.
All lived in the same street name (in different areas).

I live in South West England. I have a friend who lives in South Wales. I've bumped into her at Cardiff and Didcot parkruns. Neither of us knew the other person was going to be there.

On my drive into town today I let a woman cross the road infront of me. On the way home, I let the same woman at the same spot cross the road. She looked at me and I at her in a bit of a wtf sort of way but with a smile.

I can just imagine the scene...made me laugh aloud!

When we cleared out our parents house after they died we found an old car log dated 1976 (my dad kept everything regarding any car he ever bought). The previous owner was unknown to any of my family either before, or after the sale of the car. Fast forward to 1989 when my then bf introduced me to his dad....the previous owner.

This isn’t mine — I saw it on a tv programme about coincidences, years ago, but have never forgotten it… Have posted it before on MN too.
RAC/AA man, let’s call him Malcolm, just happened to be walking past a phone box when the phone rang. He decided to answer it and it was a colleague, who said, ‘Hello, Malcolm.’ She had meant to call him, but thought she’d called him on his work mobile and wouldn’t believe him that it was a public phone — until she realised that she’d accidentally dialled his payroll number instead of his mobile.
(He told it much better!)

Went on a weekend break to Edinburgh with the DC (we live in London). DD had left primary school the previous year. As we walked towards Edinburgh Castle, DD was saying she wanted a new winter coat with a furry hood but "not a coloured furry hood like that girl Lucy from primary school had". By then we were standing on the foreground of the castle and I spotted a girl wearing a coat with a coloured furry hood and said to DD "you mean not like that". It was Lucy from primary school.

It's not the first time we've run into people from home while on holiday but it was by far the weirdest!

Just thought of another.

Not me, but a friend was telling me about when a colleague bought his holiday snaps in to work (before smart phones). Another colleague did a double take when he saw photos of the group of girls they'd befriended. It was the same group he and his friends had hung about with on holiday the previous year!
