First holiday with toddlers

Apologies if this has been asked 100 times already we are going away over Christmas for the first time since we have had kids our dd has recently toilet trained within the last couple of months and myself and dh are worried about her having an accident on the plane, is it unreasonable to put her nighttime nappy on her even though she’s potty trained? I don’t want to undo our hard work lol

We did, potty trained from April went away in July 4 hour flight and used a pull up, my little boy however wouldn't go in his nappy so I took him to the loo on the plane (an experience in itself), but the piece of mind was priceless..it didn't set us back 😉

Thank you! How did you sell it to him? I know she is going to despise the thought of wearing one

He didn't really kick up a fuss as he was too excited by the thought of the aeroplane, though bribery was also an option if he had moaned

I would think she'd do fine after a period of a couple of months. DD (age 2) potty trained end if November and she'd be really upset to be put back in a nappy, she's refused to even wear one for bed. Toilet before boarding and there's a toilet on the plane, she'll be fine.
DD has been on lots of trips since (days out and events fir Christmas not holidays) and I have worried but she's been perfectly fine. Is she still having regular accidents?

Having had a child announce they needed to go immediately (when is it ever not immediately) while sitting in the queue of planes waiting to take off I would suggest a nappy.
