What on Earth have I just watched??

DD is watching something called “Leo” on Netflix about American kids at school and their class pets seem to be observing and commenting.

One of the girls in the class gave the teacher a big clingy hug and the Chameleon creature commented “Oh boy, divorced parents”.

I am right in thinking this is NOT funny at all and totally perpetuates illconceived judgements and misconceptions about divorce etc.

Surely this crap needs to be removed from Netflix???

Well what’s the contexts? Are the characters currently divorcing?

Sounds a bit mean. I remember hugging my teacher to death when I was 7, and I had a lovely mum and dad together.

That whole film is horrendous. I can't believe it got made!
