Making new Friends.

Why is it so hard to make new friends when your 30 something plus??

All I would like is the odd person to go to the cinema with once a month or another event and a catch up after/ before.
Or just to chat about the film/ theatre/ music etc.

It seems near on impossible.
Of course going alone is fine. But it's boring and kinda miserable at times..

Its hard. I joined hobbies and that fizzled out people left it. Find its hard pinning people to dates so I go alone. People flake too. Its hard agree

Is there anyone at your work you could make friends with?

Or a neighbour?

crispynight · 16/12/2023 17:25

I think cause everyone's busy with family/kids etc.

South East.
Yeh it shouldn't be so hard to find reliable people just looking for new mates.

Not really, small talk at work but happy to leave it at that. Plus everyone has partners and commitments.

Neighbours I rarely to even say hello to.
I thought maybe a learning course of hobby again next year.
