To ask if you've had irregular cycles or bleeding

What was the cause?

Background, I'm 33. Always had a period every month, cycles could be anywhere from 23 days to 31 in length but generally 26-30. Past two cycles have been really strange, bleeding/spotting from day 21 last month and this month day 18 !!

Not on any contraception and never have been. I have had a bit of stress recently, but stress before hasn't had an effect on cycles.

If you've ever had bleeding, and/or irregular cycles and you had it investigated, what was the cause?

Bit worried right now.

I had long irregular cycles (between 31 and 38 days) for 20 years then started taking evening primrose oil capsules on the recommendation of a friend at which point they switched to 28 days dead on!
