Branded tea prices gone too much. What's the best unbranded Tea you have tried?

What's the difference between red and gold label?

I like the Co op 99. Don't know why called 99, there's no Flakes in there, ever. 😒

My favourite every day cuppa used to be Asda's just essentials at 40p for 40. Used to be a lovely cup but the last pack I brought had a really bad oily machine taste to them.
Currently I am drinking Asda extra strong tea bags at £1.80 for 80. These I can pop in the teapot and add extra water as I drink it to get even more cups - bargain, as i must drink about 20 cups a day!

There is another type that I've tried.
Think they were called Lancaster tea??
Believe me when I say it tastes like they have swept it up from the factory floor - disgusting!

M&S Gold

Lidl Deluxe English breakfast and M&S gold.

The Lidl own brand is great. Can't tell the difference between this and top brands.

I think gold label is stronger.

Sainsbury's Red Label

Amazon sometimes have Yorkshire tea at silly prices so it’s worth keeping a look out.

I think Tesco red label is ok.

Morrisons extra strong 😊

I swear by Morrisons caffeine free in the blue box. When I go on holiday I take a box with me.

I always think it taste nicer from a bone china tea pot and bone china cup. That's how I have mine, always.

Lidl red label. we are fairly fussy about tea but these are fine.

Sainsbury’s gold label. I will drink their red label but prefer the gold, just tastes nicer.
