Absolutely terrified . Operation got put off from October , due to some issues now resolved.Trying not to worry but very difficult.Keep waking up ,heart racing ,or lying awake feeling so scared .Want to enjoy Christmas, but just cant relax! Hystorectemy for suspected Ovarian cancer . family and hubby are supportive (Hes had cancer but thankfully all clear) Just want to enjoy Christmas (usually love it) just a feeling of dread ,and dark thoughts if the worst outcome .(Not really a voting question ) just really love to hear any comments at all

It seems shitty that the diagnosis will only be confirmed once you've had the operation, but presuming they'll send a sample for histology while you are on table. That will determine the extent they need to extend the margins to clear.
Nothing we can say will stop you worrying, but I hope that once crimble really picks up, you'll be swept up and have at least an hour or two where it isn't at the forefront of your mind.
Those of us who have been in your position will have everything crossed for you.
Sending warm, positive vibes

Talking to family may also help, and I know this happening to you, but does your DH have support too?
Mulled wine by the vat will work wonders too!😜

Jemenfous37 Mulled wine by the vat sounds great! DH hasnt got support as such, although his Sister who has also had Cancer has been very good .Seems ok to manage when busy . Just want to have a good time for a few days .I am going to stock up on the Baileys as well!
