just wondered if anyone knows anything about wtf this could be?! For the last few days I’ve had dizziness on and off. It’s particularly bad anytime I move my head. For example I leant my head slightly downwards to get something out the drawer and immediately had dizziness when I looked up again. It only lasts a few seconds but it’s really unpleasant. It makes me feel really woozy and dizzy and it’s horrible

I’ve had some other weird symptoms on/off recently- I’ve had a random pain in my back that seems to start out of nowhere and is excruciating to even more or slightly bend over- that lasts maybe 30 mins or so and has happened a few times in the last few weeks. I’ve had other symptoms like as if I’ve hit my funny bone but I haven’t- it feels like a weird feeling in my arm and leg, not really pain sort of a tingling as if im just suddenly really aware of my arm and leg (sorry crap explanation but it’s the best way I can think to describe it)

Does anyone have a clue wtf this could be and if it’s likely all related or not? I occasionally take migraines so wasn’t sure if it was that

in only 25 so I know it probably won’t be anything serious or awful but I’m going to go to the GP anyway but in the meantime does anyone know what could be going on or am I being a bit dramatic about it all?!

Low B12 can cause dizziness and tingling in limbs.
The back thing could be coincidental. Are you vegetarian or vegan?

I been having reccurant dizziness and lightheaded feeling when I move my head. For about a year. My Dr said it's called BPPV. A type of vertigo. I find it's worse when I'm on my period too. It truly feels awful! I'm also being queried for fibromyalgia due to my body aches, sound similar to what your experiencing. Its like a tenderness.

Sensible plan to visit GP. As you describe it sounds like BPPV. It's characterised by a provoked vertigo sensation when moving your head, such as rolling over in bed, which lasts for a few seconds then will completely settle if you are still. Eases through the day but next morning back to square one. You can speed recovery with brandt daroff exercises -Google the term and it'll show how to do them.

There arenseveral other causes of dizziness but at 25, if you've no hx of head injury, ear pain/sever headache/fever BPPV is very likely.

GP can diagnosis formally in exam, there are some other maneuvers they could try to resolve it more quickly. There are also vestibular sedative medications to ease the sensation to use in short term but the trade off is they will prolong the duration you have symptoms for.

But I wouldn't associate bppv with back/arm pain. Not obvious to me how they would be associated.

I’ve had vestibular neuritis (similar to labyrinthitis) and sounds the same. They test through moving your head around, if you feel dizzy and nauseous you have it. It’s inflammation of your vestibular system, often prompted by a virus. Sadly it does often reoccur but mine is definitely easing as times goes on when I have a bout. Go to the GP, they’ll prescribe a drug to dampen the sensation.
