To panic about having DC2

Maybe it's just because it's getting closer to due date, but I'm starting to have a little moment of panic at the thought of having a second!

I think I'm mad to pretty much start all over again. My DC is 5 so we're at a nice stage I'd say, life is really enjoyable and we have a great routine. I know this is all going to go up in the air once the new baby comes and I'm starting to freak about what is to come 😬

Please tell me this is normal!!

Totally normal ime.

I was FAR more scared about having dc2 than dc1.

I think it's because with the first you have no idea what's coming, but you can centre everything around just them when they arrive,, and with the second you do know whats coming, and you know the stuff you'll have to deal with, while also keeping things ticking over for the first as well.

It's a really common feeling, it soon fades when you get used to your new normal, honest 💐
