After all the gushing reviews on MN, I ordered an oodie on 26th November for a family members Christmas present.

I received an email on the 30th to say it had been dispatched using Royal Mail 48hr service.

The tracking says that RM are still waiting to receive the item.

I've emailed them to find out what is happening, only to be told that I have to wait 14 working days to get a response!

Looks like I won't have the gift in time for Christmas then.

So, aibu to think oodie.com is shit?

I think there have been several threads with the same situation. There is a known issue with delivery delays, especially with the higher volume of sales they must have generated with the November sales.

We have Oodies and also other alternatives. My girls prefer their Oodies, thicker and softer. I only have an Amazon version, which is longer and a single layer but I love it.

Unfortunately my order this year has been caught in the delays and I ordered their Oodie towels - not something I have seen replicated elsewhere, yet!

Me too - I bought Lushforest "oodis" from Amazon last November both in the knee length and the ankle length. The ones described as "shearling" lined are very warm indeed - extremely useful when my heating failed then but also now when I can reduce when the central heating is on. 🌹

i ordered an oodie on the 6th December, got an email on the 8th to say it had been shipped. Read stories on here about slowness and started to panic it wouldn’t arrive, the tracker wouldn’t open, tried emailing oodie who said it’s taking 14 days to reply to emails, figured there’s not much I can do except hope and wait however the oodie was delivered today!

Look up the Siena ones on Amazon cheaper and my kids have been happy with them. I have the extra long version which goes to my ankles (5f 2)and is so warm.

It's been on the news about the company not having enough product that they have stopped taking orders.
There is some great " fake" ones.. although I've had my real one two years.. but Dunhelm have the fake ones in store and are fabulous

I ordered from them last year, took three weeks to arrive. (A week after Christmas)

I have seen some in Dunelm and some in M&S that are better than the last official Oodie I bought. (but nothing compares to the first one from couple of years ago)

There are ones in Matalan that are very similar quality.

I've been looking for one for my step dad but gave up on the whole idea in the end.

I bought one a couple of years ago and it is the best winter clothing item I own. So unattractive but so warm and thick.

Don't know what is going on with orders this year but they are worth it if you get your order.

I have a kmart one from Amazon. I love it - it’s thick and huge and in fact this winter has so far been too mild for me to wear it often. It’s currently there for £19.99. What I really love is that it covers me to my ankles -
my legs have always been the bit of me that gets coldest. Last year I succumbed to marketing and bought a kuddly for much more money and I didn’t like it nearly so much; it was too wide and got in the way when cooking etc, and too short so my knees and legs got cold. Not a patch on the kmart one. I ended up giving it away.

So I had an updated email of doom, cancel by Sunday or wait until January, with the promise of a discount code next year.
