I Have a dressing gown that is in good condition but it dosent have the belt/tie? It got lost.

Theres a recycling clothes event coming up, where bring and take clothes for free nothing costs any money Think free Jumble Sale for clothes.

I keep thinking shall I bin this dressing gown, which is otherwise good, or give it to the event . Someone might still like it or maybe able to make a belt?

Or they might want to use the material its towelling? Hmmm to bin, nobody wants it without its belt, or give it to the event? Someone might take it for free and wont worry about the belt being missing?
AIBU or not.

Could you cut it up and turn it into dusters/cleaning cloths?

Clothes bank?

I was just going to suggest the same about cloths - I always cut up my old towelling robes and they make brilliant general purpose cleaners.

You could donate it to an animal shelter. They could use it for bedding.

Definitely donate it, I got a dressing gown cheap in a shop as the belt was missing, used one off an old one.
