AIBU to think Die Hard is a Christmas movie, and to have enjoyed watching it for the umpteenth time?

DH was out last night, so I watched one of my favourite Christmas movies, Die Hard. I've always liked this film, and consider it to be a Christmas film so usually try to watch it during the run up to Christmas.

DH arrived home before it finished, and couldn't believe I was watching it again. He also says it is not a Christmas movie.

AIBU to enjoy watching this film once a year, and to think it definitely is a Christmas movie?

I'll be watching Die Hard 2 when DH isn't around, he thinks I'm mad watching them each year.

It is a Christmas film. Should definitely be watched at Christmas.
I love the late Alan Rickman. I'll watch anything with him in. Ditto Bruce Willis actually.
Them together= wonderful.

You can watch it as many times as you like of course. Nothing wrong with that. It is NOT a Christmas film though.

It's a Wonderful Life is a Christmas film.
Die Hard is not.
However, each to their own and all that.

It is NOT a Christmas film.

It is a film that shows events that happened at Christmas.

There are no Christmas themes in the story.

It is though a damn good film!

Die Hard is absolutely a Christmas film. I will be doing my wrapping watching it and also Miracle on 34th Street. I do it every year. Both very festive in very different ways 😄
