To consider switching GP surgery

I've been having ongoing issues with some vague symptoms for 18 months now. Extreme fatigue and exhaustion, dizziness, bone and muscle aches, headaches, shortness of breath, chest pains, palpitations. Iv had ECG, heart monitors, every blood test you can think of numerous times. I'm backwards and forwards to the GP to no avail! They just shrug me off and telle my tests are within normal limits. Am I being.unreasinable to just be done with them and try and move surgeries,? I feel like they don't listen to me and just can't wait to get me out of there. Even results that are concerning they do fuck all about it. Th communication is so bad..I've asked for referral after referral and they just will not do it. Id complain if I could but I wouldn't really know how or what to even say.

Firstly I'm really sorry you're feeling so rotten. If your results are in normal range, as they're saying, then it would be difficult for them to refer you on - there's normally a list of criteria that need to be met or the referral will be rejected. However, if they're not and you think they're dismissing them incorrectly then it may be indeed be worth a second opinion. That said, I've lived in a few different places and couldn't say that any surgeries have been any better or worse than others - it just tends to be a bit of pot luck in terms of which particular doctor you get. I really hope you get some answers soon 💐
