Husband pet names

There is no context here, but my husband in the last year thanks or addresses EVERY woman with either the following:

"Thank you my love"

"Thank you Miss"

"Thank you young lady"

"Hello smiley"

"Wow you're super smiley"

All of this is infromt of me and it makes me cringe so bad, and I feel embarrassed
, I'm not sure why.

I'd find that a bit cringey too. Unless he was like 80 and giving santa vibes.

Are you from different regions or social backgrounds? Are his parents old? Is he close to his grandparents? Is he into one of the retro scenes, like steampunk, or swing dance? If he unironically wears Christmas jumpers, it's probably innocent.

Same religion, same background - mum is 72,.dad has passed. All grandparents passed too. Not into any of the above, he's a 6ft 2 basketball player by hobby, and works as a customer service manager.

I bet he would never talk to a man like this, it sounds like he's talking down to women, almost like he's talking to a child.

Does he have mushy pet names for you or his friends?

Has a sexist/ironic manager at work given his team training in 'charm'? If so, maybe he has to rizz people up at work and it's becoming second nature?
