VeryPay Data Breach

Went to view my online VeryPay statement on the Very website today, only to be shown somebody else’s statement (including name, address, account details etc)! Tried again, but was shown another random person’s statement. This happened 5 times so obviously a major glitch!
Phoned Very to let them know…only to be told that the only people who can deal with this are the Fraud Team, and they will not be in until Monday! was told the only people working are the Small Items Team and they can’t do anything and won’t even pass the message on to anyone!
So is it unreasonable to be pissed off that they are happy to carry on sharing mine (potentially) & other customer details with the world, until the Fraud team start work again next week?

Or email the Data Protection Officer, contact details are in the privacy policy which is linked from the footer of the website

Thanks, tried that but phone line is closed (message saying hours may vary at holiday periods).
Will have a look for the email details of Data Protection Officer now though

Thank you, have just fired an email off to them - I am just shocked / angry that they are willing to let this slide until Monday!

It's a gdpr beach - have a google i think it's the ICO you need, and report them.

I couldn’t find a way to contact ICO at the weekend as a member of the public, and the online forms seem to be for businesses to report themselves (unless I misunderstood it)?
