They didn’t substitute my milk

I have no option but to get my groceries delivered every week. I don’t have any way to get to a shop.
with my weekly shop I ordered milk. Normal milk. But it wasn’t available. So instead of substituting it, I have no milk.
substitutions we’re an option. Did they? No. To get my milk this week I would have to order a separate delivery tomorrow with a charge for spending under the minimum or spend an extra £40.

I know it is annoying, but if you can afford it, I would just get another delivery tomorrow and stock up on stuff like washing powder that will keep to spend over £40. Would one of the neighbours lend you a cup of milk to tide you over?

If it's tesco, they're incredibly helpful on their WhatsApp chat. I would message them see if you can get it resolved. Order two and freeze one if you have room in your freezer

I second this. Not sure if they’ll help with this issue but hopefully they will. They were very quick to respond when I had an issue.

crap service its ovbious there was other milk any milk they could give you

I think it's highly doubtful that they had milk but decided to lose money by withholding from the op out of spite.

It's perfectly possible to go without milk for a few days. I hate the taste of cows milk and rarely use the plant milks available these days and I don't find it limiting.

However if the op doesn't went to many supermarkets see now on Uber eats and Deliveroo and I think Tesco does a fast delivery service. Amazon do next day day (or even same day) delivery in some areas.

That is so poor, there is literally no excuse to not substitute milk.
