Hi mums just a quick question I have a few children some (toddler and school age) and I am currently decorating my house. I am thinking to have white oak high gloss laminate flooring has anyone got this with young children. Thanks

Don't do it.

I don't see why not. It's washable. I have cream carpets and a 5yo. Had them since she was 3. They're bleachable. I've had tomato soup vomit all down the hall and you'd never know. I also have a light beigey fabric sofa. Removable covers so I just bung them in the washing machine every now and then.

Hi gloss will be very slippery (especially in socks or if it gets wet)! Our wall have been white since our now adult children were small - a magic sponge was my best friend!

I have the grey gloss right through my downstairs absolute biggest regret ever so slippy even the dog can't walk on it its basically covered in rubber back mats. It's also severely damaged underneath any furniture from the weight and movement of it and is scratched everywhere been down 2 years another 3 to pay it all off and then we're having to have the while lot redone.

Thankyou for the replies think I will rethink the white gloss, I did think with young children will be a pain and didn’t think of the slipping x
