Morning after pill delayed period?

Hello I took the morning after pill on day 19 of a 26 day cycle pretty sure I'd ovulated but wanted to be safe so went for the pill , pharmacist gave me the levonorgestrel type and said that it would basically help to prevent pregnancy by thinning out the lining of the womb so it's hard to implant and a few other things!
I was due on yesterday but nothing yet I know I'm only just late but I am now worrying! Anyone else period been late after the map?

Yes the morning after pill can make your period late due to the hormones it contains. I generally wouldn’t worry about a chance of pregnancy until you are at least a week late and even then I’d wait a little longer before doing a pregnancy test.

It can but my delayed period is now sitting across the sofa from me 🙈 so you might want to do a pregnancy test.

The advice is up to a week late just wait, day 8 or more and do a test to rule out pregnancy.

I have clockwork like periods and have done for years. It’s incredibly rare I’m late and if I am it’s only by a day.
I had to take the map a couple of months ago and it delayed my period by 7 days. I was beside myself worried and convinced it had failed, so I wouldn’t worry just yet. Give it till a week and if you’re period hasn’t shown I would probably take a test then.
