Posting here as not sure where else?
Is there a legal requirement for an e scooter rider to report the collision it has with a pedestrian. A few details.

Im the pedestrian.

escooter the rented legal type on the fucking pavement.

I have reported to the police and the rental company. I was also obviously injured very shaken by it.

No help op as I also dont know..so sorry this has happened to you. The e-scooter are a menace! I am partly deaf and I jump out of my skin when they come whizzing up on the pavement behind me.

The only exception for the use of e-scooters in public is for those hired as part of a council rental scheme.

Which OP says the rider was using, so the issue of insurance, tax is moot.

I have no idea if it’s a legal requirement to report a collision like this, but, surely the police would, if you reported it did you not ask?

I did on-line as 101 had phone issues! Unbelievable. I didn’t think it an emergency call so didn’t do 999.
