DD (17) has put this hoodie on her Christmas list:

whitefoxboutique.co.uk/collections/loungewear/products/offstage-hoodie-volcanic?variant=39876308598856

I didn't realise how hard they would be to get hold of! Appears to be sold out on their website and there are around 4 options on Vinted when I've searched new with tags, all extortionately priced, presumably because people know they're in demand due to low stock.

Anyone know where I can get one of these before Christmas without breaking the bank? I offered to find her an alternative hoodie (actually I could get her several unbranded nice hoodies for the price of this one!), but the brand matters apparently! I mean I get it, I was 17 once too. Help a mum out please?? 😀

I’d just get one from Vinted if they’re new with tags. To narrow it down I’d use the seller that has the best feedback.

It's not available at a reasonable price at this time, so she can't have it. Don't stress.

It’s really not very nice, but different people like different things.

give her £55 to find it herself? Hopefully they’ll come back in stock in the new year /the vinted people will drop their prices if they can’t sell them on for inflated prices.

Also sometimes perspective helps in these matters. My son just spent £170 on a branded sweatshirt. It's just a grey sweatshirt with the logo prominent on the sleeve. The sweatshirt itself is not remarkable in any way. As much as I understand the drive to wear the right brands, there is being brainwashed by them. I think my son has been mugged right off and no, I'm not arsed about encouraging stupid money for mundane items. I wouldn't be busting a gut to throw money at them.

Sorry if joyless. You could always invest in another piece that is available.

Part of the reason people are selling them on Vinted is because the returns are so difficult.
Even if it were to come back in stock now it's doubtful that you would receive it by Christmas. If you look at this thread you can see the delays people are experiencing.

Vinted or eBay will be your best bet if you want one by Christmas day.

Wow! Thank you. Looks like a total nightmare. I'll avoid and get her something else and she can order her own hoodie in the January sales.
